WorkSafe and police are investigating a fatal fall at a construction site in South Melbourne. A 37-year-old man from Craigieburn has died after falling 20 metres at the Dorcas Street site this morning.

POLICE have released the name of a 31-year-old Taree man who was accidentally crushed under a six-tonne roller last Thursday.

WorkSafe has warned companies and workers about the dangers of working in confined spaces after a tank cleaning company was convicted and fined $500,000 last week after a worker died.
