Assessment
Practical, theoretical and application based assessments in consideration of the following competencies:
- MSAPMPER205B/01: Assess confined space for entry
- MSAPMPER205B/02: Use safety equipment and clothing
- MSAPMPER205B/03: Control confined space entry
- MSAPMPER205B/04: Conclude confined space operations
This course will include the pre-requisite unit MSAPMPER200B (Work in accordance with an issued permit)
- MSAPMPER200B/01: Apply for permit(s)
- MSAPMPER200B/02: Identify the scope of the permit
- MSAPMPER200B/03: Prepare for permitted work
- MSAPMPER200B/04: Work in accordance with an issued permit
- MSAPMPER200B/05: Complete permit(s) to work

Duration
To maximize learning benefits, it is recommended that this course be conducted with a maximum of 12 participants over a period of 1 day.
Resources
Suitable classroom equipped with whiteboard. All confined space equipment including gas detection instruments.
Certification
Upon successful completion of this course, each student will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment.
