Risk Management & Isolation Lock Out Tag Out
Introduction:
The Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) training program is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to safely isolate plant, equipment and energy sources before work is undertaken.
The course covers the identification of hazardous energy, application of isolation devices, locks and tags, verification of zero energy, communication requirements and the safe removal of isolations before equipment is returned to service.
This training is suitable for personnel who operate, maintain, inspect, clean or repair plant and equipment, as well as workers who may be required to participate in workplace isolation procedures.

Training is delivered through a combination of face-to-face instruction, facilitated discussion, practical demonstrations and workplace-based scenarios.
Participants will apply Lock Out Tag Out procedures using relevant isolation equipment, locks, tags and workplace documentation to demonstrate their understanding of safe isolation practices.

Training can be delivered at the Baseline Training facility or onsite at the client’s workplace and may be contextualised to suit the organisation’s plant, equipment and isolation procedures.
