Introduction:

The Occupational First Aid Skill Set [HLTSS00027] comprises learning three (3) different First Aid courses – and meets industry requirements to perform the role and responsibilities required of an Occupational First Aider.

The comprehensive course training comprises of practical training through face-to-face training hours within the scope of learning each of the below courses;
 
• HLTAID006 Provide advanced first aid
• HLTAID007 Provide advanced resuscitation
• HLTAID008 Manage first aid services and resources

The HLTAIDSS00027 - Occupational First Aid skill set has been endorsed by industry as appropriate for people who are either employed in, or intending to become employed in, nominated occupational first aider and management roles.
 
  • Students who are deemed competent will receive a Statement of Attainment recognised under the Australian Qualifications Framework. This certification is nationally recognised.
  • • HLTAID006 – Provide Advanced First Aid;
  • • HLTAID007 – Provide Advanced Resuscitation; and
  • • HLTAID008 – Manage First Aid Services & Resources

First aid and CPR attainments are highly regarded and increasingly in demand throughout various industries. Occupational First Aid (HLTSS00027) is a comprehensive stand-alone course.  The courses empower candidates and personnel with the skill-set required to respond to any emergency in a timely and effective manner.

Delivery Mode:
• Three-Day course
• Classroom based training
• Our Pinkenba facility (free parking) OR Onsite Training
• Delivery can consist of face to face, and practical simulations
